well, Harbor Freight in the 'dorf is out. Must be 100% masked.
While checking out north from waldorf to Upper Marlboro, to Dunkirk, a much larger percentage of people are masked.

When I got legit with FL DMV nobody was wearing a mask in there. I went yesterday to get a library card and nobody in the library was wearing a mask, either. I see individuals wearing them occasionally, but it's not a thing here in the businesses or even govt buildings.

Some stores (Giant, Safeway, CVS, Harris Teeter) in Dunkirk have been asking that customers be masked for a couple weeks now. Employees are required to be.

I didn't notice who was and wasn't today at Giant among customers.

Whats funny is the difference in masks on customers between Target and Wally. The amount of masked families is crazy......

Lowe's started up on employees in the building being masked at the beginning of August.

When I went to Safeway earlier this week I noticed about half and half of masked and non-masked shoppers. Employees were masked.

So when Hogan ended the emergency order, I thought that ended the emergency powers given to the local health department czars, the ones implementing these new mask mandates.

The signs I've seen are quoting the CDC not the local Health Department.
Having said that, generally the Health Department doesn't need Governor declared emergency powers to impose health and safety controls, they already have those powers from the Legislature.
