Oh no. :frown: I loved Gatorland. I hope it stays contained and doesn't spread into the park part with all the animals.

Im real sorry if any alligators die but in the event they do, cut one up, flour it and deep fry it for me. Gator meat is soooooooo good.

Poor things never had a chance. I hope if this fire was intentional whoever set it gets fried themselves. :burning:

**whew** Crabcake isn't anywhere near this place.
The shame of it is these are confined animals - like on any other preserve or zoo. They can't run and escape.

We loved Gatorland, it was a very cool place for kids. I think in many ways my kids had more fun there than Disney World or Universal Studios....no crowds, very relaxed atmosphere, neat stuff to do.

It's a shame the entrance got ruined, who knows how many pictures have been taken in those jaws over the years? I'm sure they'll rebuild it though.

No, of course not, but at least they stand a chance. Sorry, sometimes hunter killer miggy has a soft mushy center. I need a :huggy:

I'm not too sure of that, between trying to survive natural disasters, hunters, poachers, other predators, disease, drought, floods, etc. they may have a better chance at survival and live a longer healthier life in a zoo... They normally do live longer... :coffee:

I took my kids there years ago and they loved it and so did i. I know i liked it a lot better than Disney. It was awsome seeing the aligators jump for food. they kids had their picture taken with a big snake and a baby aligator. We enjoyed it so much. we tried some aligator too and it was'nt bad.
