Master Shield Gutter Guards - Have you used them?

We are looking to install some gutter guards before the fall hits in earnest this year - sick of cleaning out our gutters, particularly given the slope of our roof and the height off the ground given the walk-out basement we have.

Wondering if anyone has used Master Shield Gutter Guards and has any advice to share? The product Master Shield sells has a sloping design with a fine stainless-steel mesh that filters out debris. My research thus far online indicates it is superior to Gutter Helmet or other solutions that wrap around, as leaves can still get into the "wrap around" style. However, I don't know anyone that is pleased with their gutter guard solutions -- and I don't know anyone that has purchased Master Shield...any advice?

9 years ago, I just got the cheap plastic gutter guards from the local Lowes, they are flat with a clip on lip. Slide the flat side under the shingle, then end with the full length clip, just clip on to the gutter.

9 years later, NOT a single gutter ever clogged. Don't know what makes the curved metal mesh ones better? But, considering how well the cheap plastic has worked for me, I would think twice about spending extra money.

I also live up next to a wooded area, my first year without gutter guards the gutters were totally clogged to the top of the gutter.

I hang XMAS lights every year, so I tie lights to the guards and take them down every year and have yet to break one, even though they go through harder than normal use.

Bought the cheap white plastic ones from lowes 3 years ago. Easy to install. Would suggest a cleaning once a year to remove small debris. If you have a power washer u can probably hit the middle and blast it down to the down spouts from either side.

Thanks to both of you for the replies - we ended up going with the Master Shield guys and they actually got them installed before the big downpour we had over the last two days, which was good! If I could have accessed the gutters myself, we would have done something less expensive, but the two areas that are larger and get most of the clogs are pretty inaccessible to us given our backyard. So far, so good - I'll update if we end up with any issues.
