Texas Gov. Greg Abbott has been busing illegal immigrants to the nation's capital since May


Washington D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser appeared on CBS’ "Face the Nation" on Sunday to discuss the persistent homelessness problem plaguing her city.

Host Margaret Brennen brought up a Washington Post report that suggested homeless shelters are now being filled with illegal immigrants being bused in from Texas and Arizona.

Bowser admitted that it’s a "significant issue" and called on the federal government to get more involved as she fears illegal immigrants are being "tricked" into traveling to her city.

"Well, this is a very significant issue. We have for sure called on the federal government to work across state lines to prevent people from really being tricked into getting on buses.

Washington, D.C., Mayor Muriel Bowser claimed on "Face the Nation" that asylum seekers are tricked into being bused into her city as opposed to all over the United States.

If she's so worried about the homeless, she can start by picking up the one that sleeps next to the Naval Memorial and the several sleeping under the train crossing and bushes at L'Enfant Plaza.

If Bowser is starting to see a problem Abbott's plan is starting to work.
Certainly the illegals are giving her a problem, that is why Abbott is sending them.
The cities and towns in Texas and Arizona are having the same problem and why should Washington be any different because it isn't on the border. Start sending them to Biden's little shack at Rehobeth Beach too.
