The appropriate response to that tweet is: "So?"

It's interesting how some bluecheck can post an innocuous photo, exclaim over it, and get the easily manipulated sheeple to grab their torches and pitchforks.

Tiki-Torch Wielding Men Target Glenn Youngkin in Disgusting Smear Attempt

In what many are describing as an obvious setup meant to tie Youngkin to racists that he has nothing to do with, tiki-torch wielding men photo-bombed his campaign bus today. Conveniently, a single reporter was around to snap a picture so it could go viral.

Amazingly, Elizabeth Holmes didn’t bother to, you know, go ask these men who they are and who they are affiliated with. Instead, she just put the picture up with no context whatsoever. That’s apparently called “journalism” these days.

Let’s also note that one of the men in the picture is black, which essentially confirms these are Democrats trying to falsely attack Youngkin just days before Virginia votes. If these were real white supremacists, I’m going to guess they wouldn’t be palling around with a black guy. But hey, what do I know?

The next question is who paid these men to do this. Was it coordinated by the McAuliffe campaign or by one of the other groups supporting his campaign (such as The Lincoln Project)? That’s what my bet would be on. It’s unlikely these men got together completely unprompted to pull off this stunt. Further, here’s Mcauliffe’s spokeswoman immediately running with the smear, which makes me think they are involved.

He should bring in Madonna and have her offer more blowies.

This whole operation is very :bubble::dork:

What kind of genius seasoned political operative thought up “hey, let’s tie Youngkin to white supremacy. Let’s parade some actors, and make sure they totally look White Power. We totally need costumes. Like, white shirts and khakis and baseball caps are like totally Nazi. And baseball hats. And props, we need some props. What prop says Nazi? Torches!!! Hey Andy, run down to Walmart and get some torches. What? Some Tiki torches on summer clearance? Score!!! More money left over for lattes. But unlit raggedy Tiki torches in the rain totally say Nazi. Ok, who’s coming? We like need the most White Supremacy people we can find. Oh, Dave wants to come? The black Dave? Well, if he really wants to come for lattes, I guess nobody will notice. Good plan. Totally genius.”

Shite, a middle school treasurer election has better strategy. UFB.

Another fun observation:
In every photo, the stance is “one hand holding the Tiki torch, the other hand HAS to be in the pocket!”
Is this a known Proud Boys parade stance? Couldn’t be spontaneous, had to be agreed ahead of the demonstration.
Are they so giddy with their genius idea that they are all playing pocket pool? Even the lady? Her hand is much deeper in her khakis.

Oh sheesh! What if McAwful makes a film about this, hires a Hollywood armorer, and shoots his own white supremies (even the black one) with an unloaded prop gun?

Zounds!!!:jameo:

I cannot wait for this election to be over. Back-to-back-to-back-to-back commercials, each one worse than the preceding.

Time to get back to the non-stop Medicare and ambulance chaser lawyer commercials.

What are these "commercials" of which you speak?

The Lincoln Project Claims Credit for Tiki-Torch Nazi Stunt at Youngkin Campaign Bus

UPDATE: The Lincoln Project apparently came forward after first being contacted by Vice News. According to reporter Cameron Joseph, one of the people involved was a “low-level Democratic operative” working with Lauren Windsor.

If Windsor’s name rings a bell, it’s probably because of all the undercover videos she’s gotten in the past few months talking to Republicans.

Windsor confirmed she was involved in the stunt too.

The Lincoln Project was immediately criticized for pulling this stunt.

I still think even if Youngkin had a 10 pt lead in the polls the Democrats will still pull it off by holding back voting totals in Richmond and the Tidewater region until their needed.

This plays out like a Bad movie production of the dirty tricks played against an opponent.
At the last minute pulling dirty tricks out of their hat.
