McCain: My Free Trade Policies Will Cost Jobs

Unbelievable. How does he expect to win?

As McCain tries to convince his audiences that an expansion of free trade to impoverished nations in Central America will be good for the world economy over the long haul, he freely admits his policies will mean a loss of American jobs.

Link to rest.

One promises higher taxes, weal military, loss of 2nd amendment rights, abortion.
The other more illegal immigration and loss of jobs.
How does either one expect to win.

Are we having fun yet??

Not when you put it that way. In fact, I'm friggin depressed. As a life-long Libertarian (who doesn't lock-step with the Libertarian party; just so we're clear on that), Prez election time is invariably a matter of choosing the lesser of two evils. Now, there is no "lesser" of two evils. Nor is it a question of which one is going to help ruin this country the least (or the slowest). I think it comes down to which one is going to facilitate the demise of this country in the least palitable manner.

My vote, inasmuch as I believe that it actually counts for anything, is probably going to go against having a Demon-cratically controlled Congress and a Demon-cratically controlled Executive branch. Not that the Republi-rats are any better, mind you. The tipping point is the gov't taking my money and giving it to people who won't work for a living; creating entitlement mentalities generations at a time. The new tax form under the Demon-crats is likely to read: 1. How much money did you make this year? 2. Send it to us.
