McVeigh's lawyer donated defense files

"AUSTIN, Texas (Map, News) - Stashed in 700 feet of boxes tucked away at the University of Texas lies a detailed look at the case of Timothy McVeigh, the Gulf War veteran who was executed in 2001 for bombing the federal building in Oklahoma City.

Transcripts, FBI reports, correspondence, videotapes and other materials were donated to the university by McVeigh's lead counsel, Stephen Jones of Enid, Okla., a few years ago. The archive did not come into public light until a federal court ruled this month that Jones could not claim a charitable tax deduction for the gift.

The archive sits in the university's Center for American History and is a likely treasure trove for academic researchers, conspiracy theorists and others who are curious about the 1995 bombing that killed 168 people."

:buddies: I would like to find out what McVeigh's last words were going to be.

McVeigh gave such a great line quoting from the Supreme Court that the executioners would not let him say his last words that McVeigh had planned to do before his execution.

The "Free Speech" was shut down when the gov became afraid of what McVeigh would say.

Are you sure??

Convicted criminal/terrorist Timothy McVeigh had no final words before being executed by lethal injection on June 11, 2001 in Indiana.

McVeigh did leave a handwritten statement quoting a poem by British poet William Ernest Henley. The poem ends with the lines
"I am the master of my fate: I am the captain of my soul."

:buddies: It is my understanding that McVeigh had last words planned but the executioners would not let him do it.

So you might be correct about that poem but you gave no links to confirm it.

The said Poem is link HERE, and the word / Title "Invictuc" is latin for "unconquered" link HERE.

That does sound like a McVeigh style of comment.:howdy:

"'McVeigh's 'Last Words'
Monday, June 11, 2001

Timothy McVeigh used "Invictus" by William Ernest Henley, a poem published in 1875, for his last words. McVeigh did not read out the poem, but had it distributed as a written statement."

but I do give my thanks for now being told.

Why? What value is there in anything a convicted mass murderer (of defenseless men, women, and children) who so hated America would say?
 "People with inquiring minds want to know."

Want to know it all.:yahoo:

That's not the only thing you've been uninformed on in the last 30 years... :coffee:

Don't you find it the least bit odd that you should be the only one to not know? Like your assumption that Ron Paul is Jewish. With less than a minute's worth of research MMDad proved that false. How can someone so lost expect to hold political office?

 I was one out of 3 that did not know and that is not "odd" in my opinion,

but it might seem that way to a know-it-all.

 I did not reply to the "Dad" because he used his filthy mouth again in his dirty postings and that troubles me.

But Ron Paul being an Episcopalian has nothing to do with him being Jewish or not, FYI.

I presume you're speaking to the concept of Jewish as a nationality, while HVP and MMDad are speaking of Jewish as a religion. Is that right?

However, you've yet to answer what possible injustices could be done to Palestinians, when there has never been an independant Palestinian state - even when one has been offered for decades. You've yet to answer why the potential of his "Jewishness" might effect his ability as president, whether it is for or against Isreal.

 It is a referance to his race and not nationality nor his religion.

If he was of a different nationality then he would not qualify to run for President.

One can be a Jewish American, or Jewish Christian, or Jewish President, or Jewish Athiest, or etc.

Jewish is a race now? Wow, when did that happen?

You meant religion, and now you are trying to backpeddle again. Very weak, Jimmy.

If you meant "Jewish heritage" then I have a question for you:

Do people of Jewish heritage who do not practice the Jewish religion have an attachment to Israel that makes them unacceptable? That is your inference.

By that same logic, doesn't your Scottish ancestry make you unacceptable as a congressman? Isn't it in your blood to support the Queen?

That makes more sense than your anti-semitic ramblings against a man who isn't even semitic. At least you really are of Scottish descent.

:diva: I am Irish and German ancestry and not Scottish.

But if we did still have the British Monarchy here then Bush would not be able to threaten the whole world with his barbarism.

We're talking about your racism here, not there. So just to get it on the record, you believe that anyone with Jewish blood is unfit to lead. That's pretty much what you meant, right?

There is a big difference.

:coffee: No, I meant that a Jewish candidate needs to explain their own position concerning the questions of loyalty to the Jewish State.

If a Muslim was running then some one would certainly ask a Muslim about their loyalties.

And when Kenedy (JFK) ran for President then he was asked about his Popish loyalties too.

The State of Israel is a very violent and racially based power and it is a big concern.

So, just to clear this up, why would you be asking an Episcopalian who was a Lutheran and is of German descent about his ties to Israel?
