Members of Maryland’s Congressional Delegation have excelled in their tax-and-spending ways by earning high rankings in the Citizens Against Government Waste ‘Pig Book’, which measures the number and amounts of earmarks each member introduced.

Its why they keep getting elected.

Buying votes with tax dollars.

You would think with all the pork we are getting from Federal dollars we wouldnt have to have Maryland taxes so high wouldnt you?

Doesn't work that way. Democrats are addicted to taxing and spending and Marylanders like it that way. Why else would they turn a man out from the Governors mansion who got us out of Spendening's deficit and had a surplus.

Yes we will take all the Federal pork we can get our hands on and still pork the Maryland citizens.

But does the amount of pork pouring into Maryland explain why the Arabs congregate in Michigan?

Interesting that their report doesn't list what the earmarks are. I'll bet there are a few of Steny's that folks in SoMD are real happy about having.

You wouldn't be suggesting that there are more people in Maryland who don't pay taxes than those who do, and thus, the majority of Marylanders aren't negatively affected by the tax-and-spend dummyrats, are you?

Or maybe it's that those of us who do taxes are working so freakin' hard to support our heads above water that we haven't noticed what the legislative freaks have been up to lately?
