I can't believe this one:

Health and privacy experts call Maryland’s Big Brother plan to scour citizens’ state income tax records for uninsured children as a waste of resources and an invasion of privacy.

Link to rest.

I didn't know there was a block for health insurance at all on your income tax form. But then it's been a long time since I've done my own taxes.

More like scenario is that they're looking to see which of us single or married with no children at home (can I get an "amen!"? Love my kids, glad they're married and have their own kids) can "afford" to pay more for illegals and the welfare recipient-minded. Sorry, was that too cynical?

this has got to be a violation of Privacy somehow .... I thought TAX Returns were for just that TAXES .....

of course these are the same folks, lying controling Socialists, that said when debating seat belt laws ....

"No one will ever be pulled over, just for not wearing a seat belt"

hell the Gobberment in Washington DC, gives local Po Po's extra mony in May if they jump on the FED Campaign to pay for equipment (aka where MSP got the money for night vision equipment for seat belt enforcement) to overtime ....

I figure the plan is to pass a law like the one in Massachusetts, where you are forced to buy insurance.

Am I understanding you correctly (probably not)? Are you saying that in MA, parents are actually forced to pay for insurance for themselves and their own kid's, instead of us having to pay for them? Is that what you mean? If so, I'm all for it! :lmao:
