couple weeks back I had the .50 off with the giant thing, then I filled on the .10 off Mondays at shell for a total of .60 per gallon saved. Ended up being 3.19 for diesel. 34 gallons. saved just over 20 bucks on the fill up.
life was good back in the day,, not so much when I fill tomorrow.

My girlfriend says the same thing when she fills her Corolla. For us (bcp and others with trucks) those savings can really add up. I walk past my Suburban more than I drive it due to it having a 44 gallon gas tank. I wait until I have some decent rewards built up from McKay's before I drive it or my Dodge pickup.

I feel your pain...
I bought a late 90's Escort for a beater car....30mpg, and less than $30 to fill up.
The Caddy on the other hand.....has a Corvette drivetrain in it....Premium gas, 17 gallon tank, and not exactly the most fuel efficient vehicle

I posted because I check GasBuddy.com just to see what IT says.
There just happened to be the 'price trend' indicator; or whatever it's called; and IT indicated that prices were falling.
Today though, that little indicator says, 'Prices rising.'

I didn't say it. GasBuddy said it; yesterday.
But today, it's saying that prices have already; or are going to; go up.
I think the arrow indicates the trend; not the actual rise or fall in prices.
I'm counting on gas going up when the travel season rolls around again.
Don't know if my Brother and his bunch are coming to visit this summer.
They didn't last year.

I'd like to have a motorcycle, but I know how tough they can be to see during the day. But, I will say, the guy I pulled in front of a couple years back, didn't have his headlight/high beam on. He didn't hit me; I didn't hit him; but he did have a few "choice words" for me not seeing him due to his improper operation of a motor vehicle.

Im going to do a camper yanking to Maine, and then one to Florida. Two separate trips. one the last weeks or so of June then the other the first weeks of August.

OOOHHHH you have the CTS-V huh? Nice Ride. I have a 2001 VW Jetta 2.0 for my beater My trucks are lucky to move 3-4 times a month now. Come warmer weather the Harley will be racking up the miles again. I am torn on how I want to build my 55 Chevy 210, I know that the straight 6 is leaving but what to put in its place diesel, hybrid, turbo-4?????????????
