New Traffic Pattern in Effect Until Mid-April

(March 25, 2020) - The Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration will shift traffic along MD 765 (Main Street) in Prince Frederick tonight for curb work as part of the MD 2/4 widening project. Crews will be working during daytime and nighttime hours with intermittent flagging operations in effect.

MDOT SHA is preparing the final traffic pattern that will connect Main Street to Commerce Lane, and provide a right turn movement to reach the Central Square Shopping Center. The lane shift will be in place until mid-April.

MDOT SHA works hard to maintain safe traffic mobility in work zones for our crews as well as our customers. Drivers need to stay alert, focus on the road and look for reduced speed limits, narrow driving lanes and highway workers. For a list of all major MDOT SHA projects, go to roads.maryland.gov.
