For those who can't or don't have the time to read it- she sold her teenaged son's car after finding booze under a seat. Seh put an ad in her kocal newspaper telling of her son's dumbarse decision. Son is the ONLY person upset with the decision.

This was posted yesterday I think but I don't feel like finding the link.

I thought it was pretty funny and the kid did deserve it. I may have thought differently if they hadn't basically made an agreement when she bought the car saying that there was no alcohol allowed in the car.

but this basically just shows that a kid should not be handed a free car. It is one thing to allow a kid to drive a car that you own, but you should not specifically buy the kid a car (maybe cosign with them, or even pay for it with a contract saying that they will pay you "X" dollars a month to pay you back for it...but you should never GIVE them a car IMO)

luckily he's not in high school anymore.....he'd be the laughing stock.....but he probably is now with his friends, if he has anymore

I actually have to disagree on this. Not saying that almost everyone hasn't drank underage but being that he was only 19, there should have been no alcohol in the vehicle regardless if the agreement had been made prior. Her car, her responsibility.
