My father retired as a Master Chief from the Seabees. He loved the Navy and was grateful for the benefits of being a (retired) reservist as he was self employed all of his life.
He died a couple of years ago; just missing his 90th Birthday. I am glad he is not alive to see this $hit.

Mine too, last year at 96. Re-enlisted in the Navy twice. Military honors at his internment. This would all be beyond belief for him.
