Dat's some crazy sh!t right there. Image if they win against the owner of the Jeep and the precedence it will set.

I would think that by accepting an agreement to do the work requested, the dealership made a commitment to having a qualified employee being able to perform the work in a competent and safe manner.

Of course, Yapoo being the absurd trash that Yapoo is, they fail to mention that anyone can be sued for anything if they don't mind being counter sued for damages.

The circle of life - Then the car's owner can sue the dealership and/or maker that sold him the vehicle.

Ambulance chasing attorneys will sue anyone for anything,,,,,just to see what sticks. Our local arse-clown Dorsey is one of those scum...sued me for 6 million and got nothing...but someone had to pay for the defense of his BS.

I saw this article on FoxNews this morning and couldn't believe what I was reading. This country has lost all common sense!

Femminineo told McClatchy News that the car owner is responsible for Hawkins' death in the same way that someone who lent another person their vehicle would be liable for any injuries caused by the driver. He said a person who lends their car is liable for negligent acts because they gave the other person permission to use their vehicle.

WTF ....

Makes not one bit of sense. Only a lawyer could come up with that. I mean, if my buddy comes over in a rage to borrow my car saying he's heading to the Juneteenth parade to teach them a lesson, yeah, I could see it. But if he's just running to the store to get another quart to finish his oil change and slips the pedal crashing into Autozone......No damn way.

I guess there needs to be a disclaimer, while repairing my vehicle the shop is not authorized to ' Operate ' said vehicle

What is defined as ' operation ' Driving ' , or merely starting the vehicle and allowing the vehicle to idle in place

If Jeep was sued it would take too long and be costly to get any money. So they try to scare the little guy.
