Railroad
Routinely Derailed
I've been doing business with these people for a long time anyway, so I might be a little biased, but here are the facts:
- Last week, while I was on my way to a meeting, my Miata's clutch failed, losing all the hydraulic fluid that makes it work. I was able to get the car into the lot at Cheseldine's.
- Mr. Cheseldine himself added the car to their schedule and did up the paperwork. I called a co-worker and got a ride to the meeting.
- While I was in the meeting, Cheseldine's called and explained the problem (the slave cylinder seals failed) and gave me an estimate of $160. I assumed that price was just for the part.
- After the meeting (later that same morning) I hitched a ride back to Cheseldine's. I was amazed to discover that my car was repaired and ready to go! And the price? That $160 estimate was right on, and the $160 INCLUDED labor.
