Railroad

Routinely Derailed
I've been doing business with these people for a long time anyway, so I might be a little biased, but here are the facts:

- Last week, while I was on my way to a meeting, my Miata's clutch failed, losing all the hydraulic fluid that makes it work. I was able to get the car into the lot at Cheseldine's.

- Mr. Cheseldine himself added the car to their schedule and did up the paperwork. I called a co-worker and got a ride to the meeting.

- While I was in the meeting, Cheseldine's called and explained the problem (the slave cylinder seals failed) and gave me an estimate of $160. I assumed that price was just for the part.

- After the meeting (later that same morning) I hitched a ride back to Cheseldine's. I was amazed to discover that my car was repaired and ready to go! And the price? That $160 estimate was right on, and the $160 INCLUDED labor.

:yay: :yay: :yay: :yay:

I am so very blessed
:yay: Cheseldine's is awesome! I've only used them once, but my repair cost actually came in well below their estimate. When needed, I'll definitely go back to them.

Cheseldine's is great. On Christmas eve, my daughter was heading out of our place to drive to MA, and developed car problems. Even though they were near closing, they accomodated us and fixed her car in no time!

I've been generally happy with them. Their estimates have always been very accurate and they do what you ask them to do, they usually don't look for other things and push repairs on you that you didn't plan on or ask them to do, unlike other places I've been to in the area. I only go to two places for major repairs, Cheseldine for my Chrysler and 1992 Taurus, Aldridge for my Ranger. :yay:

I love them. I have a 94 T-bird. They have taken great care of it.

I like them, they're close by,usually one of the lower estimates and do good work. One exception. I had them replace an inline cv joint in a 87 nissan truck. I was leaving town the next morning. When I picked it up and headed home the thing shook like crazy over 25 mph. I took it back and told them I thought the drive shaft was probably 180 out on the differential. The mech said he never heard of such a thing. Anyway thats what it was and they fixed it right up for me. They should have road tested, but we all came away happy.

:yeahthat: It's a shame more businesses don't seem to understand this. Your best advertisment comes by way of happy customers recommending you to others. I do most of my own work, but when a job is overwhelming to me, I go to the ones that have given me good service before, not the low bid. It's always and added bonus to get a break in price for being a return customer, but not my main motivation.
