A large number of civilian gov't employees aren't elected, appointed, or enlisted. However, I've always heard it said that they 'serve their country'.
Regardless, it's nice that she spoke out in support of her husband and her roll as FLOTUS when asked.

I remember serving in the military, wasn’t a sentence. I remember Hillary served as Senator then served as SecState, those were only sentences for her constituents and the safety of the nation.

They have a taxpayer funded staff, some are heavily involved in policy, and part of the resume touted for Secretary Clinton was the time she served as FLOTUS. You touted that yourself.

I feel for Melania. I wouldn't want to be her and have to deal with the shitty things people post on her Twitter feed every day. Just to make the stunningly obvious points:
1. Stating that she will support her husband if he decides to run is not news and is exactly what she is supposed to say.
2. Her "work" as First Lady has been filled with about as many accomplishments as her husband's "work" as President.
3. Maybe 4 more years will allow her anti-bullying crusade to have some impact....inside her own damn house.
