which is caused by the high pressure system that's sitting over us now (the trough is the boundary of the two systems - and the WINDS in that area are expected to be pretty high)

This will also decrease the intensity of the storm as it moves over cooler waters.

I was watching that. The imagery from the sat. IR is pretty sweet. You can clearly see the jet stream, the trough, and surrounding systems.
