Well, I'm not voting since I don't have a male companion and the only use I would have for any would be for a puncture wound (I always keep a couple in my first aide kit).
I do however purchase them for the wife. I make sure she gives me the box top or a very explicit description of what she needs as I don't want to screw that up as it is always bad enough already when she needs them.

And if I could vote, which I still can't, I would say 'No' because my husband is not afraid to do that for me.

I think that sending men to buy feminine products is like sending a woman to the auto parts store to buy oil for the car.
