metal/iron manufacturers?

Looking for a prefab iron or metal railing to replace an old wooden one on the front porch. The big box stores don't carry anything of the size/quality that I am looking for. It would cover 2 risers - an ironworks company that I found online would charge in the low $300 for what I want including shipping - more than I want to spend but I have no idea if that is a reasonable price or not. Anyone know of any place local that will make or stock something like this?

Just sneakin' around....
Check with 3 Mules welding in Great Mills, I believe they have an iron works guy there, or could direct you.

$300 actually sounds reasonable for a custom rail delivered.

Most likely SIL/BIL Robby's Welding or good family friend Coffee Hill Welding.

Could be. I don't go there often enough to remember who it was.

Coffee Hill was the other I was trying to remember... :yay:

I did loads of metal railing, fence, trelis and other metal work when I lived in St Marys. But its been almost 10 years since I moved...
