Metrocast and You Tube

So, has anyone else with Metrocast had trouble plaing You Tube videos? Started a couple days ago. Speed test shows good download speeds. Everything else loads quickly. Other video sights play videos with no problems.

Go to You Tube and it all goes to hell. The page loads fine and all the thumbnails show up fine. Click on a video to play and I nothing happens or I get an error message.

Thoughts?

I've been having the same issue. Static with an error message where the video would play. I un and reinstalled flash player. On the computer. Videos won't play if I'm on wireless on the iPad, but will if I use the vzw 3G.

Yeah, I noticed this too. Tried to get to a video through wifi on the phone and it didn't work. Switched to 4G and got the video just fine. Definitely a Metrocast issue.

Just did tech support chat and they said reboot router and modem to clear the DNS error

They also gave me a new DNS server address to try but I'm lazy and don't feel like trying it tonight

Well rebooting did not work

It worked for the desktop but still having issues with iPhone on wi-fi.

Changed my dns to googles and it worked

8.8.8.8, 8.8.4.4

I let metrocast know and they said thanks, they will keep working on the issue
