Metrocast Cable Modem Problems Today

Anyone else have cable modem issues today? I'm trying to isolate a problem and wanted to know if anyone else in the general area had problems. I'm off of S. Sandgates in Mechanicsville. Thanks!

No problems, working fine all day long "Lexington Park".

Try resetting your modem (turn it off for about 30 seconds and restart)...

We started having a lot of problems and that is why I switched to DSL. Every time I called I was told there were no problems in my area- must be my modem. It happened several times a week. Now, DSL is very rarely down.

I wouldn't be surprised if it was Metrocast. My parents just switched to DirecTV, because they took forever to repair the main cable that comes into the house. Actually, they never did fix it.

:knockonwood: We haven't had any problems in a few weeks, but for a while, it was ALL the time! I despise Metrocast!
