Mexican Ingredients?

Just chillin' this afternoon, watching PBS cooking shows. There's been a marathon of Pati's Mexican Table, and some of the dishes she makes look really good. I want to try some of them, but there are ingredients that I don't see locally, even at the ethnic section of Shoppers, some very unusual fruits and vegetables.

Anyone know of a good, well stocked Mexican grocery store?

I know its a jaunt but when I need ethnic ingredients whether its fresh vegetables, fruit, spices / seasonings, etc.. I usually go here. If they don't have it... you aint gonna find it! I've spent hours in here before just milling around checking out stuff. Its really cool

Is this the one next to Taqueria Los Compadres? They have legit Mexican food there :yay:

Not unless it moved, that restaurant is up on 301. This grocery store is in a small strip mall at the corner of Washington St and Rt5, at the other end of the building is or was a movie rental / adult store. Across the street is the big and tall store and the closed down Exxon station. It's been a couple of years since I've seen it.

Oh I'm not familiar w/ all the roads and stuff in waldorf as you can tell lol! This place is located by lowes and the big screen store. Its a taqueria, Mercado, and lounge in one small strip. You should check it out the food is great!
