Delegation of Mexican lawmakers denounces employer sanctions law

TUCSON- A delegation of nine state legislators from Sonora traveled to Tucson to make the case against Arizona's new employer sanctions law,

The lawmakers say it will have a devastating affect on the Mexican state.

At a news conference Tuesday, they said Sonora cannot handle the demand for housing, jobs and schools it will face as illegal Mexican workers in Arizona return to their hometowns without jobs or money.

The law, which took effect Jan.1, punishes employers who knowingly hire individuals who don't have valid legal documents to work in the United States. LINK

Excuse me while I cry them a freakin' river. :wah:

Would THIS face lie?
Maybe we should go down there and spend billions of dollars to build them some nice housing and maybe set up a couple of hospitals and schools....I think that would be real nice of us..

They might have to find a solution to their problem, instead of dumping it on us!

They might take all those unemployed workers and get them busy building houses and investing in their own country instead of exporting their problem to us. They certainly have some big brass ones for complaining about their infrastructure being overwhelmed though. At least it would be with their OWN countrymen and not a pack of illegals.

This is no great surprise to anyone. When you live next to an open sewer the stink is bound to drift over to your house when the wind is blowing the right way.

Right now thanks to Washington and our two fine political parties, the wind is blowing in only one direction, and Mexico has the fans running full time to see it stays that way.
