Typical misleading headline. In the body of the story, she said pool decking collapsed which covers the garage and allows access to the pool.
From the story.
A woman missing in the deadly Florida condo building collapse called her husband as the tragedy unfolded — and said she saw a sinkhole where the pool used to be before the line went dead, according to a new report.

The Washington Post reported that Stratton was on her fourth-floor balcony when she felt a tremor and saw the pool deck cave in.

A structural engineer who inspected the tower last year told CNN that what Stratton saw "definitely" could have been a factor in the catastrophic collapse.

Jason Borden told the network that if the pool deck or structural slab near the building failed or was compromised, "it could have contributed to the end result."

Sarsour later deleted her tweet and announced that she was taking “a few days” break from Twitter because of the backlash she received.

“I’ll be back in a few days. This site is a place where those with no morals or values can take someone’s tweet & claim higher ground with no reflection or retrospection on the atrocities and injustice they support on a daily basis,” Sarsour said.

Israel’s former U.N. representative Danny Danon blasted the Women’s March founder, tweeting, “Do not expect those who worship violence and death to understand those who value life. The IDF, Israel’s army, the most moral army in the world, will always stand by our allies in times of need.”

Jerusalem Post columnist Emily Schrader said, “Imagine being such a small person you’re mad about people you don’t like saving lives. Linda Sarsour is mad the IDF is saving lives in #Miami. Remember that.”

For a short while, there was a frustratingly widespread effort to ignore the pleas of our Charlie Cooke and find some political attack angle to stick on the tragic event.

Reporters who should have known better claimed, falsely, that Florida governor Ron DeSantis had unnecessarily delayed the FEMA response, that DeSantis had delayed the emergency declaration, that the collapse was the result of a state effort at “deregulation,” that the collapse proved the importance of President Biden’s infrastructure proposal, and that climate change was to blame.

It’s enough to make one appreciate the World Socialists for their bizarre but original complaint that “Biden goes to Surfside to promote bipartisan cover-up of Florida condo collapse.” (What does that even mean? How on earth was anyone “covering up” the widely covered, universally decried collapse of the building?)

Investigators haven’t yet determined what caused the building to experience such a sudden and catastrophic collapse, but the early evidence suggests a failure at or near the base, and problems in the foundation and structure, possibly exacerbated by tremors caused by construction work nearby. In 2018, an investigating engineer wrote of “major structural damage” to the concrete slab beneath the pool deck as well as “abundant” cracking in the columns, beams, and walls of the parking garage beneath the complex. The investigations will continue, but from what can be determined so far, there are not a lot of national policy lessons to learn from this tragedy. This appears to be an aging building with worsening structural problems, and owners and management that appear to have failed to heed the warnings from inspecting engineers.

Miami building evacuated near location of deadly condo collapse

14-story Florida building with 164 units near Surfside condominium where collapse killed 98

Residents of a 14-story Miami building have reportedly been evacuated.

The building is located on the same avenue where a condominium collapse killed nearly 100 people in 2021.

A structural engineering report prompted the evacuation, and an engineer found that a main support beam had shifted and that a crack in it had expanded.

If I may ...
For your consideration ...

:yay: It's a right-wing-conspiracy!
I'm thinking that chicken wings should be separated and sold as "right" wings and "left" wings. How's that for a marketing concept? Then we can see which sells better as well.
