9/11 - Never Forget!
It's nice to see some older pictures of the La Plata area before the building boom of the late 1990's and to be reminded of what our neighborhood looked liked before the tornado.

Yahoo is revamping their map programs, too. http://maps.yahoo.com

My question is... how old are the Microsoft bird's eye images? I checked a couple addresses that I've known to be the same for the last 2+ years... but they look radically different than what was shown?

The images I saw are old. My house is there but none around it except one.

Wow, this was great. I liked this better than Google Earth.
You mean Google Maps?

Google Earth is the 3 dimensional interactive Globe of the earth. Google Earth is in a completely different league than this 2D map.

Which ain't bad by the way. The imagery over Southern Maryland is a lot better than Google Maps & Earth.
