Can the media stop cheerleading for Iran with every news story.

The people reporting seem too happy when an Iran missile hits something.

They want Trump to lose so badly they will and do sacrifice American lives to get it. You can tell the ones who are on the take because they cheer like bloodthirsty demons when they can - even if they have to stretch hard for it - attribute a death to Trump's policies. Forget all the Americans who've died at the hands of illegal aliens and Mexican drug cartels because of Democrat open border policies - the Left media couldn't care less about them. Nor do they care about Americans who've been killed by Hamas or Hezbollah.

How did half this country get so hate-filled and evil?

It's just because it's Trump and Republicans in general.

After Trump the next elected Pub will be hated just the same. People must have forgot how much the Dems hated Bush. He was also called Hitler.

It's amplified because of social media.

It you didn't have democratic politicians like Mad Max, Schiff, Schumer, Goldberd, Raskin .. and others calling Trump Supporters Nazi's and declaring you need to get in their faces and chase them from the public square - they don't deserve jobs, to eat in public,

should be put in re-education camps - Killary said this

One of the many things that irk me about the fake news media is they reflexively believe enemy regimes that have blatantly lied to us in the past, but call Trump a liar every time he opens his mouth. This goes back to that Democrat thing I was talking about in the other thread - they never learn from their mistakes; they double down on them.

Newstards: The Iranians say Trump personally gunned down a kindergarten class in Tehran!
Sane people: Trump says that's not true.
Newstards: Well he lies!!

I hope I live to see a day when those types are eradicated, or at least so marginalized that they have no power.

It's not a mistake.

They KNOW the enemy nation is lying.

They CHOOSE to use it as propaganda against those that are right.

They are pure, unchecked evil.

It would be nice if we could trust our news media to tell us the truth, and it would be doubly nice if libprogs didn't take the word of internet randos from foreign countries hiding behind a screen name. Triply nice if libprog news outlets didn't use these foreign randos as a source and spread their fake news.

What should happen is any journo reporting something like that would be fired and banished from the profession. What *does* happen with Democrat outlets is they publish fake news and win a Pulitzer.

A Pragmatic Perspective on the Iran Conflict

Start with this question: Considering all the years the debate over Iran’s nuclear ambitions has persisted, why haven’t its strongest allies, China and Russia, ever provided Iran with a nuclear weapon?

Now, before anyone jumps into the nuclear non-proliferation perspective, let me remind you we are not going to pretend things here. You can pretend that Beijing didn’t give the DPRK nuclear weapons by pretending that North Korea isn’t a proxy province of China. Or you can stop pretending. The choice is yours!

So, what’s different? Well, in the DPRK example, Beijing holds the control mechanism. For Iran, giving religious fanatics a nuclear weapon would be tantamount to giving the Muslim Brotherhood the ability to start World War III.

As recently noted, Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman urged President Trump not to back down from this moment of consequence and to eliminate the Iranian threat once and for all. MbS is about as close to a Middle East pragmatist as you can find. In response, a desperate British Prime Minister Keir Starmer rushed to Saudi Arabia hoping to change the position of MbS. Great Britain is almost out of fuel.

That’s a good place to start looking at the regional perspectives.

Islamic extremists, religious zealots, fanatics, cannot be trusted with nuclear weapons. Even those who are sympathetic to the Iranian regime, particularly Turkey and Qatar, are pragmatic about this issue.

Nuclear weapons must never fall into the hands of Hezbollah, Hamas, al-Qaeda, the Islamic State (ISIS), al-Nusra, and all of the extreme -perhaps most authentic- factions of Islam are included in that outlook.

While it is true that Israel has carried out a brutal, over-the-top, offensive against Hamas in Gaza, it is also true that Egypt – via President al-Sisi, spent two years destroying Hamas terror tunnels on the Egyptian-Gaza border and installed a five-layer security perimeter to keep the Islamist “Palestinians” out of the Sinai.

President Sisi (Egypt) and King Abdullah (Jordan) do not want to import Palestinian Hamas promoters, despite their very public opposition to the offensive methods of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

♦ The Muslim Brotherhood represents the political face of extremist (authentic) Islam. Turkish President Recep Erdogan is one of the zookeepers keeping the big cat cages under control, while simultaneously using the big cats to draw an audience.

Qatar is the banking side of The Muslim Brotherhood, feeding the big cats and providing them indulgences to keep them satiated. The intelligence services of Israel (Mossad) and the USA (CIA) are involved in this process.

When it comes to authentic Islam, you might say that essentially Mossad and the CIA are the physical cages, while Turkey (Recep Erdogan) and Qatar (Amir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani) are the zookeepers.

Turkey the gateway to Europe, is a NATO member not a NATO ally. Qatar has a foot in both the lawfully constrained western world and a foot in the religious fanaticism world. While the tightrope walking might seem difficult both Turkish President Recep Erdogan and Qatari Amir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani have navigated this dynamic as part of their own influence and affluence operation.

That said, none of the names involved thus far want the rabid faction of the big cats to get a nuclear weapon. President Donald Trump does not want the rabid cats to get a nuclear weapon. None of the voices in the Middle East, sans the fanatical Iranian religious faction, want Iran to have a nuclear weapon.

All of these various regional players have their own individual nuance to retain influence and power. However, on the issue of nuclear weapons they all agree – Iran must never have them, because Iran would represent the biggest threat in the entire world to using them. [Name a weapon that Iran has never used.]

None of Iran’s allies – not Pakistan, not Russia and not China – would ever fathom giving Iran a nuclear weapon, because the leadership of Iran is sketchy, unstable and, well, potentially batsh!t crazy enough to use it. The Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) are just as zero-sum minded as the Islamic clerics they protect.

This accurate and factual baseline of common interest is why you do not see any of the regional voices opposing President Trump’s effort to ensure that Iran NEVER HAS a nuclear weapon?

How strong is that sense of common interest?… Strong enough to accept Israel bombing Iran in support of that common interest. Turkey, aligned in sympathetic voice with the Muslim Brotherhood, hates Israel; but they hate Israel slightly less than they hate the thought of Iran having a nuclear weapon.

The credentialed class loves to debate Iran as a theoretical policy challenge, but this case turns the abstract into reality with a California address. According to federal authorities, Mafi, who was born in Iran and became a lawful permanent resident in 2016, allegedly operated from inside the United States while maintaining approximately 62 bidirectional contacts with Iran’s Ministry of Intelligence and Security. This is no longer just about what Iran is doing in the Middle East. It is about whether more regime-linked operatives are already inside America.

Politically, and more importantly for homeland security, this story matters because Americans already see Iran as a real threat. A McLaughlin poll found that 52% of voters approve of military action to eliminate Iran’s nuclear and missile programs, and that support rises to 59% when voters are reminded of Iran’s record of killing Americans, taking hostages, and attacking U.S. forces.

America is also facing growing concern that Iranian sleeper cells or covert assets could exploit the vetting and enforcement vulnerabilities exposed during the Biden-era border crisis, which left dangerous gaps in interior security.

President Donald Trump has said the administration is watching possible Iranian sleeper-cell threats, and a 2025 White House national security memorandum warned that Iran directed proxy groups, including Hezbollah’s Islamic Jihad Organization, to embed sleeper cells in the homeland. The FBI has also warned that Iran continues to plot attacks against U.S. citizens.

The Mafi case is not proof of a sleeper-cell operation, but it makes those warnings immediate. Hostile regimes are not just overseas. They can exploit weaknesses inside the United States.

The scope and details of the allegations make clear that this case should not be ignored as just an isolated arrest. The allegations involve drones, air-drop dump bombs, massive ammunition deals, an Oman-based business structure, travel through multiple countries, and repeated contacts with a suspected Iranian intelligence officer. This case reveals a broader network and a direct failure to recognize how an Iranian foreign adversary could exploit U.S. residency while using shell businesses and international trade routes to move dangerous materials.

Bessent Lands Another Crushing Blow Right on the IRGC

You might think that Iran would be happy after President Donald Trump announced that he would be continuing the ceasefire until their proposal is submitted and discussions are concluded.

But they actually seem very mad about the ceasefire being extended.

1776848585642.png

Why? Because the blockade continues. Just because they aren't having bombs dropped on them doesn't mean they aren't still getting choked out by the blockade.

We've been talking about the economic pain that the blockade is causing their economy.

But Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent explained how the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), specifically, the guys behind the regime, are being hit right in their wallet big time.
