So, what are your thoughts - is he too old school to have success in the NFL or is he just what the doctor ordered in SF?

Mr. Singletary's recent firing reminded me of this clip.

He seems like a class act, and his post-firing statement was all class... but his firing with one game left struck me as somewhat disrespectful. I could see firing him right away if there were 10 games left in the season, but with one game left? Why not just wait one more week? I'm not buying the proffered reason I heard.
