Here or there? I thought you sold there here house?

Nope. Fell through. Talk about getting jerked around by the buyer/buyers agent/buyers lender. I told our agent, don't bring us anyone associated with this realtor again. Anyway, it's back on the market, and we're hoping we're going to be able to squeeze a few more showings out of the prime season. I have a feeling we're going to be stuck with it until next spring.

Same here. Selling my dad's house in VA. Had 2 contracts, both fell thru because the contract the buyers had with their buyers fell thru. Under contract again, 3rd time's the charm? Crossing fingers here, and hope your's sells soon.

Thanks, GW. Hope this one works for you, too.

First time ever hiring out some work, going to have the below guy and his team come do the rear gutters and trim some branches back from the rear of the house, since it's pretty high up and steep and if my back spasms, I'm donezo.

Came out to look it over and spent some time talking and we really like Frank, the owner of the business. He and his wife are starting up a small farm down south of us by Beachville Road. They are coming out Monday after work to get most of it and to finish up Tuesday after work. I'll post a review after they get done.

For both of you: Good grief! I hope it works out sooner than later.

I'm not entirely happy with our agent, either. Learning, after the fact, that this is not his full time job, does not give me much confidence in his ability to sell our house. Our contract with them is almost up, we signed a for a shorter period. Sadly, the pathetic buyer burned up most of that time.

I can recommend a couple of realtors, if you'd like. They do it full time.

I don't have a problem with the realtor. I have a problem with being assigned a part timer. We'll consider renegotiating for a full timer. If they won't give us a dedicated agent, then we'll move on. I'll let ya' know. FWIW, this realtor was also recommended. I'm sure they're all the same.

Understood. Let me know if you have a change of heart.

Things should work out for you, mAlice. Right now, there is a shortage of houses, it's a seller's market, at least in VA it is. Granted, it's past prime selling season, but with the turnover we have here in SoMD, you should be ok.

Took me forever to sell my house in NY when I moved down here, a little over a year. Big party when it sold. :yahoo::dye::party:

I think our biggest mistake was renting for a year. What a flippin' nightmare. Never again. I'd rather ruin my credit than rent out my property.
