Let's hope we're in the rain band...
I would think snow would be good for your business. It is for ours because of the weather reports - traffic goes through the roof.

Put me down for snow - I'm dreaming of a white Christmas.

Snow keeps people indoors, or playing in the snow. A dry winter that gets cold and stays cold for about 6 weeks would be good, but the snow screws things up.

As for Christmas - I'm just glad it's on a Saturday so that the work week isn't too screwed up! Snow on Christmas would be nice. Just enough to cover the ground, leaving the roads passable. Otherwise, Bah-Humbug! Just give me a frickin' day off for goodness sakes. Christmas is a day off with an agenda. Happy Holidays!

So much for "global warming", eh?

Why is it that everyone is this country desperately wants to disbelieve what most of the rest of the world considers to be fact?

I mean I could go on about how increased global temps (which may or may not be a cyclical natural thing) are actually causing more volitile air currents in the west, pushing arctic winds into our neighborhood...but that's missing the point. Global warming has become the catch-all for greenies attacking SUVers, and, for some reason, the SUVers have bit the hook, pouncing on any evidence to the contrary.

Who cares? This is the wrong fight anyway. The greenies should be baiting the gas guzzlers for better reasons - like the yellow smog-laden horizon or the wear and tear on our bridges, buildings and monuments caused by polluted rain. Allergies! Anything is better than the glacially slow, complex problem of global warming. Our car culture faces plenty of simple, concrete, immediate problems.
