Missing Beagle

My beagle, Beeghi, has been missing since yesterday afternoon. Him and my husky both disappeared out of the backyard. I live in Hollywood Shores community. A very nice lady who lives on 235, just a few houses down from Jones Wharf Rd, called me a few hours after they disappeared to say she had them. By the time I made it to her house, they were gone again. Several hours later I received a phone call from the MD state police saying they found the husky wandering around in the middle of 235 all the way up at St. Johns Rd. I picked him up and thankfully he is ok, but there is still no sign of the the beagle. Everytime they have gotten out in the past, they have always came home within a day or two, but with the husky being found all the way up on 235, I'm worried Beeghi may not make it home on his own.

Beeghi is a large, tri-colored beagle with a black collar. I found his tags in the backyard so he doesn't have any kind of identification on him (I'm attaching a photo). He is a very sweet dog who will go to almost anyone. I've tried calling the animal shelter and was told to wait til monday and call back. If anyone has seen my beagle or knows where he is, please contact me as soon as possible.

Look here too....this is all the strays that have been brought in to Tri Cty. They have alot of beagles...you might want to go look in person. Your description and theirs could be entirely different. Good luck w/ your search, hope he turns up.

Don't forget to check all the local vets in that area, sometimes people post 'found' dogs there...or at Petco...

Maybe you should get them micro chipped so that if they are taken to a vet or end up at tri county without tags, they can be identified as yours.
Better yet, I hope you can fix whatever way they are getting out and running free "for a day or two."
Good luck! I hope Beeghi comes home.
