Missing Black Lab

Cody (big black lab) went missing on 5-4-09 around 10:30 in the morning. He just had surgery on his left leg. The leg is shaved and has staples. The mom had given him his pain medicine and he started getting sick. He wandered into the woods and they haven't seen him since. Cody is a big teddy bear. He's 9 years old. He has never been a leash dog. He will go outside and when he's ready he comes home. The parents are thinking the medicine may have made him groggy and that is why he wandered off.

The parents moved to Arbor Greene in Owings, MD in October. It is near Mt. Harmony elementary school.

They are very worried about Cody, and are going crazy not knowing what has happened to him. Please forward this to anyone you know
that lives in this area. He has been gone for three days now so he could be
anywhere in the county.

I hope they find him. Very irresponsible to let him out like that after surgery.

I haven't heard any fol up reports. Sometimes they send out a fol up and sometimes they don't. I sure hope he shows up. We've had so much rain and it's been cold at night.
