: ( missing cat piney point

I was away for a while today and when I got home my front door was unlocked...

the only thing missing was my cat. Only thing I can figure is maybe someone slid a credit card in the lock, opened the door and found "crazy chow dog" waiting behind the tall baby gate...

but I can't find my cat anywhere... I just came in from searching the yard, but can't find her

I think she may have slipped out the door when it was opened, and she has no id on her as she is an "indoors" only kitty.

I know she didn't go out when I left because I am aware that she might slip out...

She was an outdoor kitty in her early life but has been indoors only for @ 1 yr.

And shes a "love bug" so would not be afraid of strangers... shes one of those kitties where you can't walk thru the house without her under your feet .. she follows me everywhere..

Hopefully she will find her way back home by the morning. She is probably snuggled down somewhere warm due to it being cold out. :huggy:

Where are my pants?
A few years ago my (indoor only) cat got out of our house. We figured that since she didn't know much of the outdoors she wouldn't go far...

We locked all of our other cats away in an upstairs bedroom and left the back door open all night with a can of cat food just outside it so that she might be lured back in when she got hungry---it worked! I recommend giving that a try.

Good luck!

What's her name? I'm trying to put together a flyer for you before I leave work for the day.

I hope she finds home soon.

She started another thread. The kitty came back this morning.

Oh thank goodness. I've had a scare with my cat before, I was worried sick. Not the weather for kitties to be escaping in.
