Agree. Forging 7 checks from pictures is not the same as washing ink off of 100's of checks and changing the amountsTotal BS. The huge theft ring has never been shut down and this little clown is being put out there to deflect attention from the major ongoing check-washing operations inside USPS.
Tis why, on the rare occasion I write a check, I use an extra fine tip Sharpie, which bleeds into the paper.washing ink off
Some of our stolen and cashed checks were modified by a technique involving image scanning and then electronically "cut n paste" a whole new check together from pieces that include a new payee and payee address. Does not matter what kind of ink you use when they change them that way. One of them was so crudely done that it was almost comical when placed next to one of our original checks for comparison. Yet it was still successfully cashed.Agree. Forging 7 checks from pictures is not the same as washing ink off of 100's of checks and changing the amounts
