Missing Golden Retriever

Hello, I live in Drum Point and woke up this morning to find my dog gone.
He's a Golden Retriever named Honey and has a dark green collar.
He's a medium golden color with some white around the nose from age.

Here's a picture from when he was a little younger.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks everyone! :huggy:

Yeah, I think he knew what he did was wrong. As soon as he got back he went straight to his dog house. I have no clue what made him leave though. The fireworks and other loud noises always scare him and we have to sedate him because in the past we would climb the fence and go to my neighbors. However, last night I don't remember any of that happening and he didn't go to my neighbor's house this time either. Oh well just glad he made it back home.

Your boy dog just may be taking offense to being called "honey",
and will probably run away again.

Glad to hear your best friend is home again.

:yay: :yay:

Now I don't have to check any more of the Asian Restaurants in the area.

Oh, it's one of the 'keep you in the back yard' best friend. Glad he's back home, out in the cold yard vs. the cold streets.

Yes, he lives outside, I know it seems cruel but believe me he's well taken care of.
He has a dog house with straw and cedar chips, fresh stuff was just put in on Saturday actually.
He's lived like this all his life and has never had a problem before, sorry if you disapprove.

Golden Retrievers need to be with their family. What a shame. :bawl:

Dogs need to be around people.

I agree, but at least its not attached to a chain and wrapped around a tree...dog house with proper bedding is much better than that.

Even my parents who were the worst pet owners, would let the dog in the garage when it got too cold. Let that poor dog in the house to keep you warm and safe.

No dog should be outside during the night.

Shouldn't even be out during the day in this weather.
I'm at home today, working out of the Dog House.
I keep yelling out the door for the Pups to come inside, but they just give me this look like "We are busy right now".
