Still No Sign of Petey, left catnip on the front porch, and food on the back porch with the door open so he could come inside and nothing.

So i guess i'll just hope and pray that he'll find his way home. or someone will be kind enough to contact me should they see him or find him.

anyone in the Waldorf area near the mall please, please keep an eye out. Petey is my baby, and i miss him terribly.

please call if you see him.
301-535-7486.
thank you so much.
Jessy.

Your post made me sad, did you have the cat in your car at the mall or do you live near the mall? How'd you loose him?

happy to be living
I hope he comes home soon. Maybe you could try to leave some things outside around the house with your scent on them; like a sweatshirt or blanket.

Make up flyers and put them on every street corner in your neighborhood and stores, at work, just everywhere you possibly can. It worked for me. My pups are home with me safe and sound after 3 days on the run. I hope you find him, I will be watching your post for when he comes home. Good luck! :huggy:

Im over in dorchester, I doubt he will go that far, but Ill keep an eye out. You may wanna check the dumsters by food lion and the other shops like jerry yums. He could be attracted to the food smells.

Don't give up hope. Our Katnip was missing for almost a week, in the snow. The he just showed back up, all warm and obviously having been fed. We figure he was holed up at the barn across the street from us. So you just never know.

Good luck!

Have you gone to Tri County? There's a cat there that looks close but I don't think it's him...you need to go look, don't rely on just talking to the people that work there.

You might also want to put a trap on your porch. If he's an indoor only kitty, he could be very frightened and hungry. You might be able to catch him.

Good Luck!

my bf thinks he saw him the other night but it was real dark and he's not sure.

i have not tried Tri County. but petey is microchiped. so if he ended up there they would have called. same with the humane society.

Ive looked around the dumpsters late at night. still nothing.

Do not ever rely on someone to call you. GO TO TRI COUNTY AND LOOK FOR YOURSELF.

A week? Good Lord..not to be Debbie Downer but he could have already been euthanized or adopted by somebody else.

It's true though, a week is long time to wait, can't guarantee they will check to see if an animal is chipped. I certainly wouldn't rely on anyone from the shelter to make a phone call.

you can also report your kitty missing on tri-counties web site

Charles County Government

not as effective as going up but at least something that can be done from home before you go up. you can let them know that your kitty is chipped

they also have photos of some of the animals there.

Don't give up hope, my Diva was gone over 5 days... then suddenly appeared.
