Runaway teens have been doing that for centuries. Its no different now. Their search for a better life has been the same theme but adjusted for the times. We all know that.
But now, another twist or two. They want to change genders, are just as confused about gender identity as ever and now drugs and society falling apart, their parent (s) are worse off. Now, couple that with lax laws on juvenile crime, our politicians can't decide if a 6 year old can choose genders but a 25 year old is too mushy minded to be charged with felony murder, while armed with a ghost gun...

Yup, divide and conquer.
