A body pulled from a lake in Henry County is that of Shawntel Barnes, a woman who was reported missing in Rockdale County, the medical examiner confirmed through dental records Thursday.
Barnes was reported missing last Thursday by her husband, Dontell Barnes. Dontell Barnes told police that he saw a stranger force his wife into a van at gunpoint in front of their home on Lennox Drive in Conyers.
Dontell Barnes had been cooperative during questioning about his wife's disappearance but he now cannot be found, Lt. Bolton said.
