I suppose the big thing, like choosing a car, is what do you intend to do with it, and what do you want from it? Flat water, rivers with minimal wave action, some light surf, heading for Cuba? Experience level? Each piece weighs about 25lbs, but together, this thing weighs almost 50lbs. So, what kind of paddling do you think you might like?
