...one of my neighborhood wanderers who I named Molly. She does not run away and has let me pet her, She is also very talkative.
I am considering trapping her, getting her vetted and trying to turn her into a house cat.

Molly was up on the back porch. I put out a scratch pad with catnip. She really enjoyed that.
In the sunlight, could see brown undertones in her coat, so I think she's related to Harold.

On and off, Molly spent about half the day on the deck. She almost let me pick her up. I think this is going to go quicker than I hoped.
We also had some good social time this evening. I put a carrier with a rain cover over it, hope she will use it.
One of the neighbors will connect me with the rescue they help to trap and vet her.
As friendly as she is, I think Molly was someone's house pet that got thrown out when she was no longer a cute kitten.

Has Molly had a stare down through the glass door with your other three?

Miss Phoenix hissed at her through the glass.
Buff came up up as I was sitting on the doorsill yesterday afternoon and sat a couple feet away just looking.
Poor Cooper doesn't know what to make of her.

Molly IS hanging around. I put together a big deck box and have it on its side with part of the floor covered by straw as a shelter.
I put the trap my neighbor loaned me into it yesterday afternoon with her food bowl about 1/3 of the way back.
She has been going in there to eat, had to refill it this morning. I pushed it back a little further this afternoon. Tomorrow, will push it back past the trigger plate.

Will try and get her caught in the 5 O'clock hour. Feral cat rescue will come for her between 6 and 8.

Since she is so friendly, they will have her fixed up like she is in their foster program: exam, FIV/FeLeuk test, vaccinations, deworm/deflea, spay and microchip.

Only sad warning, if she tests positive for FeLeuk, they recommend euthanasia as that disease has no good treatment.

Molly was successfully trapped late this afternoon and about an hour later Feral Cat Rescue picked her up.
She is now in the custody of Calvert Well Pet Clinic, exam, shots and spay to be done tomorrow.
FCR will return her to us.

Molly will be my wife's roommate.

Things are set up, even have a screen door over the doorway so the others can see, smell and talk to new kitty.

Bought kitty a brand new litter box as the rescue recommended no other cat smells in the box at first.
Since she's been outside, will she be an indoor/outdoor cat or are you transitioning her to indoor only?
