Mommy it's a talking bee....how silly.

So kids and I were watching Dora a bit ago. Well the kids were anyway and my daughter gets in my lap to lay and cuddle. So towards the end of the episode--something with the Fiesta Trio (band of musical bugs) playing for the Queen Bee--she looks at me and says 'mommy, it's a talking bee, how silly'. I kind of just shook my head agreeing with her but then I got to thinking about it.
This is Dora. Her best friend is Boots, a talking monkey.She is also friends with Benny the bull, and Isla the Iguana---both talking. Not to mention Swiper the talking fox. Her cousin Diego also has a cartoon where he has a talking jaguar friend and they go on missions to save animals that, you guessed it TALK.
And she has issues with a talking bee??

Maybe the insanity of it all just caught up to her! I love cartoons, but if you stop to analyze them, well, let's just leave it at that!!

Kids are too funny when they figure something out, something amiss.

My son is a little older and we let him watch Snakes On A Plane (we covered his eyes on some parts). He told me how silly it was because he knew the certain species of snakes would never attack like they were.

He is a little sponge when it comes to information about animals.

Beats the stupid yellow sponge and his star fish buddy. Though I love the beginning of ths show when the pirate sez Ooooooooooooooooh who lives in a pineapple under the sea........... My daughter always makes me sing the Ohh part!
