Mom's Club of Lusby?

Does anyone know anything about the mom's Club of Lusby? I recently saw them listed on the sponsors list at the Anne Marie Gardens Halloween event and I was just wondering if anyone had heard of them or is a member?

I found a website and sent them an email to join, but have gotten no response. They must not be active. Very disappointed.

Don't know anything about them but I saw them at the Garden on Saturday. Maybe they've just been busy getting stuff ready for that event? Hope you hear back from them soon, I've been thinking of joining the PF Mom's Club.

I emailed some other somd mom club type of group and never received a response back either. That was about a month ago so I guess they're not interested in new members.

You need to call the phone number that is listed. Is there's a phone number listed on the website? Keep checking the calendar on somd.com homepage and there might be someone listing a phone number for you to call to join. Also, if there's a meeting place listed, just show up and they will talk to you.

The MOMS Club of Prince Frederick will be holding its Monthly Social on Tuesday, October 26th, at 10:00 a.m. in Sunderland. For more information, please call 410-257-0977 or email pfmomsclub@yahoo.com. Prospective members and children welcome! Come see what we’re all about!

Give them a call, and I'm sure they can give you information for Lusby's Moms' Club.

He was just taking a guess. I don't think it was necessary to strike him.

I wasn't striking him. More like a "duh" moment.

I'm pretty sure that he KNOWS that Lusbymom is not a member of the Moms' club in Lusby. This Moms' Club is for stay at home mothers with small children that are not in school yet. This club gives support to a stay at home mothers. It's very hard not to have anyone to talk to during the daytime while all of your friends are at work. This club is a great place to meet other stay at home mothers and lets our children build social skill.

Ooops, well I am disqualified. I’m not a stay at home Mom. Just a working mom looking for more interaction with other women with kids. I really liked the Book Club & Cooking Club idea’s…

Nah, you are not disqualified. You still can join the club. The club is aimed for stay at home mothers, but it is not "strictly" for stay at home mothers. There are a few working Moms in the club because they are home during the daytime or something like that.

I really like the Book Club, cooking club, craft club (quilting, knitting, crochet, scrapbooking, etc.), Girls Night Out, etc.

Oh Yeah, there's a few Stay at Home Dads in the club too! :yay:

I'm only home during the day during holidays, otherwise I get home around 5:30. Do you all ever meet for activities after 5:00pm?

No, and that's very rare if we do meet after 5 pm. Most of the activites are during the day time. Most of the activities are in the mornings during the week. Sometimes we meet on weekends for once a month special trip such as family trip to the Zoo in DC. There's a Moms Night Out on a Friday night once a month.

You still can join the club and plan some night activities yourself. I'm sure that many Moms may still be interested in some activities that are offer at nights. I don't think anyone have offered "Pot Luck" dinner in a Moms' club, and that's something you can suggest when you join the club. They will add it to the calendar.

It doesn't hurt to make suggestions for night activities. :yay:
