Mono?? Again

Shericita

Is it all make believe?
In reading through old posts and researching online, I can't seem to find a definite answer; I was diagnosed last September with mono...can it come back??

Please help, I'm tired, dehydrated, weepy, muscles ache, can't seem to get enough sleep, feverish, the skin on my eyelids is peeling...all symptoms that made me go to the doctor and get diagnosed before.

Any ideas?

From what I've *heard* once you have mono - you always have mono. It resides in your body. Perhaps you should go to the doctor? You could also have Lyme's or have the flu. And by looking up your symptoms online, you can come up with a million more possibilities, but a doctor can narrow it down. Good luck and I hope you feel better.

As Mig said, I heard it resides in the body as well once you have. But I've had mono before. Once and that was it, 14 years ago.

I would suggest going to see your doc as well.

:yeahthat:

That is how my Lyme was FINALLY diagnosed. After being told that I had Chronic Active Epstein Barr (the virus that causes mono), I went to an infectious disease dr. and he told me that the CAEB was because my immune system was compromised by the Lyme.

PLEASE ask your dr. to do a Western Blot test for tick borne illnesses.
