No surprise. He is protecting deadbeats who don't pay their rent or destroy the landlord's rental property.
The democrats know who votes for them.

This part I have an issue with:

Providing tenants with the chance to buy their residence through a right of first refusal would also offer an avenue to affordable homeownership, supporters have said.

What if my rental house is on the family farm and I want to sell it to my brother or daughter? I guess I can’t - have to offer it to the renter first. Damn socialists.

But after reading the above statement from the article, how does right of 1st refusal make home ownership affordable? Does this bill tell me what I have to sell my rental to the renter for? Damn socialists.
