I thought that that plan was cancelled due to teh traffic problems that it would cause and tehre not being an acceptable solution to it?

Ha, since when do they let that stop developement? :lmao:
The connecting service road should keep a few cars from entering 235 just to go to the next shopping center and I really don't think a whole lot more people are going to go to WM just because it's "super". Maybe that's just wishful thinking.
(Of course the go cart track will bring 'em out on evenings and weekends.)

My wife still works there and says they are going through with plans for a Super-WalMart. I'll be the first in line for Wal-Lube.

So what are they building between Wal Mart and Kmart? To big to be another WaWa.

FDR Blvd, along with part of the Three Notch Trail, are being built as the SuperWalmart, 24 hour operation with grocery is constructed...

And on the Laurel Glen side, Tractor Supply Co on the end of that strip mall where Kmart and Food Lion are located. Not sure if that is under construction yet but I believe there may be a concrete pad there already...

Not quite. They purchased nearly 100 TDR's which preserves hundreds of rural acres in the RPD as required by our zoning ordinance. They will also be upgrading intersections, building the road between Lauren Glenn which will allow traffic to flow between all of the shopping centers from Route 4 to Walmart, building a section of the Three Notch Trail, and a section of FDR Blvd.

No new swimming pools this time! :ohwell:
