You guys really spin yourselves into the ground trying to cover for these lies. If you like being lied to just say so.
It's not "liking being lied to". It's that I don't care. They are of no consequence.
And lies to the left include issues of subjective opinion.

My children are the most beautiful in the world. PERIOD. If you think otherwise, you are wrong.
I am not a liar for thinking otherwise. But that's the way the left thinks - a subjective issue is "lying" if it doesn't fall into their framework.

I personally believe the issue of global warming - or climate change, as it is now euphemistically called (although the premise that the planet is being "warmed" is the concept behind it)
is a load of overblown hooey, because of the extent of the threat nowhere nears the outcries of Armageddon the left is bellowing about.

It amounts to global sea rise by me pissing in the ocean - our carbon footprint - as far as the effect the human race has on global weather - is still
surpassingly small compared to the size of the planet, the effect that carbon dioxide has on warming relative to things like cloud cover and water in the atmosphere -
the exponential effect rather than linear effect of increase carbon dioxide (and by that, mathematically I mean, an exponential requirement along the horizontal axis rather than
vertical - meaning - a LOT of increase results in inconsequential change) - it is *BULLSH!T). But if I say that to the left, they call it wrong - a LIE - and get all twisted about
over it.

So what crime did they commit? Other than not detailing specifics over a twenty minute meeting that resulted in absolutely nothing?
:killingme

Then why would they need to lie about it, multiple times?

Again, the lies told about the russia meeting were intentional and NOT subjective. The only reason you don’t care is because the guy telling them has an R after his name.

What illegal act(s) occurred during the meeting? :coffee:

What lies were of great import? The ones claimed are the kind of lies *I* am likely to make over a minutes long meeting of zero importance that happened a year earlier when I was asked about them.

It's not the "R" - it's that they're inconsequential.

My Tuesday meeting started at 9:30 - *LIE*! it was 9:35. That kind of thing.
The "lies" are extremely inconsequential. They affect nothing.
It's the equivalent of lying about what you ate for lunch.

But it's Trump. And Trump lies are a basis for impeachment.

Inconsequential lies are like:

If you like your dr you can keep your dr.
If you like your plan you can keep your plan.
There's not even a smidgen of corruption...
It was a protest against a video...

I mean, only someone with a 'D' next to their name makes those lies inconsequential.

So we are past pretending trump didn’t lie about the meeting.

That’s progress
Seems you're the only one not past it. The rest of us don't care.

President lying about some meeting that doesn't affect my life - I don't care.

President lying about my healthcare does affect my life - I do care.

Then why lie about it repeatedly?
This wasn’t the difference between start times, it was first a lie about not having happened at all. Lues so ‘inconsequential’ that the president himself helped to craft them.

Start times is an EXAMPLE of an inconsequential lie. Yesterday Kamala Harris tried to "catch" Kavanaugh in a "lie" by wording something vaguely so he might deny it.

If I have a meeting for an hour about my son's education - usually I remember, especially if a decision is made.
If that meeting was a year ago - and it was short - and nothing happened - and I wasn't actually THERE - and my schedule is FILLED with stuff every day -
and someone told me did you meet with a Russian SPY - yeah, I'm gonna say, no you're full of ####.

I've said before - the left calls stuff lies when they're of the inconsequential kind - like what you had for breakfast kind - but are wholly dismissive of WHOPPERS
told by their own side. I don't care about those kinds of lies, because they're the kind I'm likely to make and that normal people don't call lies, but oversight
or mistakes.

Moreover - NOTHING happened. Nothing. I don't care what kind of answers are given, NOTHING HAPPENED. But because someone didn't give the answer you
wanted, the REAL answer has to do with Russians, UFO aliens and Bigfoot - because believing there's no THERE there somehow doesn't make sense to you.

The progbots care very much...until they are directed to care about something else, like that woman making white supremacist finger gestures in the Kavanaugh hearing.
That was hysterical - and a story so stupid, once a little was KNOWN about her, they dropped it.
Born in Mexico and the granddaughter of two Holocaust survivors.
Plus at any given time, it's unlikely she could know if her HANDS were visible on television.

What fools these mortals be?

NO wonder they're called snowflakes.

It’s clear Trumpers don’t care. They don’t care about anything but...... trump.

The rest of us do care. That’s why there are multiple investigations going on. You can claim repeatedly lying is inconsequential, but it indicates they needed to lie about something.

As for your claim that nothing happened, how do you know?
