More really bad budgets?

White House and congressional negotiators rushing to hammer out the final details of a sweeping budget and debt deal are unlikely to include many — if any — actual spending cuts, even as the debt limit is lifted for two years, people familiar with the talks said.
The agreement appeared likely to mark a retreat for White House officials who had demanded major spending cuts in exchange for a new budget deal. But the process remained in limbo while negotiators awaited final approval late Sunday from President Trump…
But instead of the $150 billion in new spending cuts recently demanded by White House acting budget director Russell Vought, the agreement would include a significantly lower amount of reductions. And those reductions aren’t expected to represent actual spending cuts, in part because most would take place in future years and likely be reversed by Congress at a later date. A precise figure could not be learned.

Is there any other option?

Trump is too busy questioning the Patriotism of other Americans to be bothered with silly things like the budget.

More importantly, no one in Washington seems to understand that Revenue and Spending are related. Until we find someone who understands that Revenue - Spending = Surplus or Deficit we will continue to run deficits.

Just as importantly, the entire electorate doesn't understand that Revenue - Spending = Surplus or Deficit.

PS..how often has this line been in the press over the past 2.5 years:
he agreement appeared likely to mark a retreat for White House officials

But the ignorati claim Trump is ALWAYS winning and Trump is ALWAYS right!! :killingme:killingme:killingme:killingme:killingme:killingme

Yes, many.

They get it, but they don't care. There are people out there like you who think the only answer is taking, by force, more money from the industrious, and there are people out there who have read the constitution and understand the job is to spend less, not more (and therefore need more taxes).

Until we get more people who've read the constitution and understand the highly restrictive limits on what government is actually able to do, there will still be the ignorant who think government needs to take more money.

But the ignorati claim Trump is ALWAYS winning and Trump is ALWAYS right!! :killingme:killingme:killingme:killingme:killingme:killingme

And, yet, they make up about 0.000000000000000000000000000001% of the population.

Just look how "they" raked Rand Paul over the coals for daring to ask where the money for the 911 Compensation Fund was going to come from.
