Did anyone mention on here previously that Southern MD is expected to get 5+ inches of snow? My one daughter lives in Fairfax, Va and she is expected to get 5+ inches, and my other daughter in Baltimore, is expecting 5+ inches.
My sister who lives in Philly is expecting to get 10+ inches! I am so glad we moved from there! lol

This is according to the Weather Channel.

That's what the Storm Watch I get says, potential for 5 or more inches of snow and sleet. Last time though, Weather channel was behind on reporting. Everyone else was reporting it starting sooner then finally Weather channel updated.

"This forecast is shaping up to be one of very high concern for our northern and western suburbs, where many of our neighbors are slowly recovering from last week's ice storm. This time it looks like heavy wet snow will punish those very same suburbs with more power outages likely.

Tell you all what, you tell me how many inches you want, and I will tell you who to link fr that amount. The snow whores over at The Weather Channel still say +10 inches, Fox says 3-5, I think, NBC is at 1-3, Accuweather is too close to call between 1-3 and 3-5.

But, and here's the wild card, that rain line appears to be maybe 10-15 miles south of us. Meaning the Lex Park area. A minor shift, and we are having a rain storm.

I actually get my weather from the Weather Channel online at :
National and Local Weather Forecast, Hurricane, Radar and Report
They are usually very accurate. I don't watch the Weather Channel on tv. Too many commercials and their "specials" on at night. I hate that!

I have the app on my phone. Another coworker kept saying no, it's going to start at such and such time. I told her that's not what the other's are saying. About 30 mins later, the app updated to the time frame everyone else was reporting.

There are advantages to having critters in the house during a snowstorm. They seem to love to cuddle up when you take the time to sit still a while <G>.

being stuck inside also gives me time to get the laser pointer out to give the boys some exercise .

Only plans are for a party on Saturday evening. :yay:
We are supposed to go up to Adamstown, PA with some friends for the weekend ... :ohwell: I guess I need to check on trying to get a refund or raincheck on the cottage we rented.
