This quote from the article won't sit well with the progressives.

more than nine in 10 (93%) said they got wealthy because they “worked hard.”

I find it interesting that simple things like staying in school, not getting involved in the justice system and not having kids out of wedlock are keys to developing financial security. But made up things like supremacy and systemic racism get the blame for some groups inability to better themselves.

All over Facebook progressives blame others, say people got rich by stepping on others etc. I wonder if these *******s actually believe that or they are just trying to rile up the rabble.

It would be interesting to see what the percentage of millionaires grew up in upper middleclass and above affluence and given better options with education and business contacts through higher education..

Funny how that works.

I'd like to see it broken down by progressives v conservatives. My guess: most progressives received their wealth as an inheritance.

Or, you know: access to even more powerful people, such as Bubba, and the Big Guy. I bet those whole things look like MLMs.

Going to a state school, putting in effort, and using the resources the school provides, getting a worthwhile degree and making decent decisions will do it.

We all go to the same schools, have the same teachers, why is it that the scores are lower for blacks.

As has been said , you buy them books and all they do is chew the covers.

Sure, but im a believer it happens more often to those that grew up with money along with a good education.
I have a lifelong friend that never made more than 14 or 16 bucks an hour. He worked in a lical glass shop in the repair dept. High school grad. Hes 63 and went on SS at 62 for about 800.00 a month.
He just sold mom and dads home in Kensington overlooking Rock Creek.
He banked about a mil.seven hundred
Hes now a millionaire.
