Mother Daughter Reunion

But wait, there's more...
Sammie's mommy's owner has to work out of town for 14 hour days for the next month, so I get to keep her with us for the duration so she doesn't get neglected. It's funny seeing how many similiar characteristics and mannerisms Sammie has that Brandy (her momma, the golden retriever) has as well.

I don't know if dogs remember their parents, but they seem to get along pretty well; not any of the expected angst of bringing a "new" dog into the house.

Where do you sleep?

And it's a king sized bed. I managed to squirm my way in there. Sammie usually only stays up there for about 5 minutes, then gets down and sleeps under the bed until the alarm goes off in the morning.

I know the feeling all too well of squirming your way in the bed with the fur babies wanting to sleep on the bed.

Talk about having a full house.

My mutt loves to go play with her parents (in-law’s dogs). She and her dad get along great every-time but it takes her momma at least 10 minutes to warm up to her, not sure if she's territorial or the fact that mutt is now bigger than her and still growing.

I was thinking that Sammie wouldn't remember Brandy was her momma, but when she started to annoy her, and Brandy laid the :smack: down on her, I think it occurred to her.

I took them all to the dog park last night and they had a blast. :yay:

I would like to point out that the DQ is becoming more adorable every day.

Thanks. :huggy: I was so proud of her this weekend ... she camped out and went to both races like she's been to 'em 100 times. I was worried how she'd do in the suite with the 'suits', but she was great. :yay:

My JRT I think recognizes her babies. We puppy sat for her baby recently and they played like crazy. When one of my other dogs got annoyed with her pup she went right into mom mode.
