Mother Groups

I am a new mother of a wonderful baby boy and I am wondering if there are any groups in the SO MD area for moms to meet other moms. If so can you please guide me in the right direction?

I was wondering the same thing....

My daughter is 6 weeks old, and I'm starting to go a little stir-crazy being at home all the time. I'd love to know if there's any groups of mommys in the area! Even if they're non-formal, just casual get-togethers for coffee or something...

Go to the storytime in the library. I think all of them have infant group. Make sure you talk with the other Moms or Dads. Don't be afraid to suggest a playgroup. Getting together with other parents and kids is good for you and your baby

I belong to a MOPS (Mothers Of Pre Schoolers) group but the kids don't have to be in preschool for you to join. PM me if you want the info. We meet in St. Charles, but there are several in the area.
